Asus and MSI Gearing Up Against Apple's iPad

After Asus announced its Eee Pad, rival MSI also announced its upcoming tablets focused on directly competing with Apple's iPad.

MSI's tablets called Wind-Pad will be featuring the Windows 7 operating system and Google's Android OS. The MSI Wind-Pad will have 10-inch screens, 2GB RAM, 32GB Solid State Drive and will be running on the Intel 1.6GHz Z539Atom processor. The MSI Wind-Pad will also offer 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities and will be available in the third quarter of this year--earlier than the Asus Eee Pad.
