Skype Group Video Chat

Ever since I moved to Saudi Arabia to work, my main means of communicating with my family has been Skype because of the quality of service it provides in video and audio chatting. The only setback is that, unlike Yahoo Messenger's feature, Skype provides only a one-to-one call feature.

Not anymore. Skype will be launching the group video chat feature next week. It will be free initially, but according to Skype's general manager of consumer business segment, they may start to charge a certain amount of fee along with some other upcoming features in the three or four months after the Skype Group Video chat Feature realease.

Skype's software already offers a range of free services, including the ability to make voice or video calls and send instant messages to other Skype users. Users pay for services such as making calls from a PC to a landline or cell phone.
