The Windows 7 HP Slate Prototype Review

The HP Slate is one of the tablets touted to contend against the Apple iPad.

The HP Slate protoype touch-screen tablet features front-side and back cameras. Unlike the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab which runs on modified mobile operating systems, the HP Slate runs on full-fledge Windows 7. With the acquisition of Palm the HP Slate could sprout another version and may be called PalmPad.
