After two weeks of googling, torrents or using slideme.org for apps for my Xperia X10i. Here's the apps that I've installed. For apps site, visit slideme.org or android.com/market/ using the phone connection either (GPRS or WiFi) then download the client for your X10i. But it is more convenient to use a computer to get the URL for the app maker then download it from there.
*for GPRS settings, click here. If still having difficulty, visit your carrier outlet.
Moxier Apps - Powerful tools to connect to an Exchange Server. Import also your calendar, contacts and tasks. Don't forget the SSL settings.
Documents To Go - This is a very good program for creating document/spreadsheet/presentation. It can also open pdf file. Much better than the factory installed Officesuite.
Guitar Hero World Tour - For those who wants to play Guitar Hero. Needs internet connection though.
Blackmoon File Browser - This is my current file manager simple and very easy to use. Highly recommended.
Battery Booster - This program manages to maximize your full battery settings. Hibernate your X10 especially at night. Night Stand - Click to launch app but it's a nice way to display your current time either using the digital clocks or the flip clock. I prefer the Flip Clock.
Compass - When you need to know what direction you're at. Not just getting direction on how to go to a certain place using Wisepilot.
Notes - Create simple reminder in case you don't want to forget something. Ultra Notes - Much better version of Notes. It's categorized so you will not get confused.
TasKiller - Free up some memory, kill unwanted background applications. Raging Thunder - Nice car game using your X10i as your steering wheel.
YXFlash - Plays avi and mp4 video formats. Plays also anime files. Naruto and Bleach on X10i. Cool.
For more apps. Click the following. [Editor's Notes: The following downloads are just for testing purposes. If you want them, buy them]
1. App set no. 1
2. App set no. 2
3. App set no. 3
Enjoy installing apps and explore the functionality of your X10i as I'm beginning to. Don't forget to TasKill the currently installed program after test run to free up some memory to install another program or uninstall it if you don't like the app.

I got a Xperia x10i this August and I admit it could compete at par with the Iphone.
I upgraded from a SE C902 and Nokia E66 .
I would like that SE would address the ff short-comings:
1. provide standard phone pad interface for those that prefer using the T9 dictionary mode ( because they upgraded from a mobile phone w/o qwerty)
2. SE's Pc companion program DOESNT SYNC contacts from MS Outlook office; the transferring and syncing of contacts and calendar is tedious to do 1 by 1. Google sync can be used to sync via online but you have to upload your all your contacts and calendars online; this is a privacy issue that many wont like to do.
3. the window for drafting sms is too small compared to the screen real estate. Make the font bigger. My eyes get tired :(
4. emulate the panning and zooming from the Iphone and Ipad; Its very cool and intuitive ( wish list)
5. WHY DIDNT SONY INSTALL SWYPE FOR TEXT INPUT ? IT WOULD'VE RESOLVED MY PROBLEMS WITH THE TYPING INTERFace.

1. Install Swype and you will not encounter this problem anymore, I'm also having some problem with this one during my first week, but overcome this one when I'm exposed to the Android Market and Repositories. Too many apps to choose from and you will forget you have this problem in the first place.
2. Yups the calendar for X10i is tied up with your Google Account. Maybe SE can fix this one with this coming Q4 software update. Users will be waiting for improvement.
3. Download some SMS apps, there's a lot in the market to substitute for the default SMS. I'm currently using Handcent SMS, its downloadable through the market and in no more hassles in drafting SMS.
4. I read this is a new feature this coming OS update from Android 1.6 to 2.1 this Q4. I'm waiting for this update also, fingers crossed that SE will roll out the update.
5. Swype is a third party app, it's not preloaded with the phone, good thing though it's downloadable in the market. Good thing that the developer of Swype came out with this app to help X10 users tap typing using the standard/android keyboard. Kudos to Swype.
