Apple Peel 520 Turns iPod Touch Into Working Phone

A gadget was invented by a 22-year old Chinese programmer that turns an iPod Touch into a working phone.

This "iPod Touch phone" gadget, called the Apple Peel 520 is a case that contains a battery, dock connector and SIM card that allows voice calls.

Once installed, the Apple Peel 520 gets around five hours of talk time and 120 hours on standby, according to a review posted on Dailytech.com.

The inventor, who is known only know by his online name "Maxpy," said that he created the Apple Peel 520 ""Because I love the iPhone, but it's too expensive in China."

So, if you've ever wished for an iPhone but don't have the means to buy one, the iPod Touch plus the Apple Peel 520 is your next bet.
