Microsoft Tablet PC

Microsoft seems to be on a wait-and-see basis in creating their tech gadgets and they haven't been that successful either in marketing or selling these tech gadgets. For example, the Zune and Kin were announced after millions of iPods and iPhones were sold.


Again, after millions of iPads sold in a mere few days, Steve Ballmer has announced that Microsoft is going to release a Tablet PC that will be running on Windows 7.

"This year, one of the most important things that we will do in the smart device category is really push forward with Windows 7-based slates, The devices will come in various forms, some dockable and some with keyboards." Mr Ballmer said at the firm's annual World Partner Conference.

Mr Ballmer said the area was "terribly important" to Microsoft, but did not mention specific release dates for the Microsoft Windows Tablet PC.

I wonder what this Microsoft Windows Tablet PC will be named?
