Overheating Occurrences in Sony VAIO Laptops

According to VAIO SVP Mike Lukas, if you own a Sony VAIO laptop-- specifically the VAIO F11 and CW2 series models, "in rare instances, these notebook computers may overheat due to a potential malfunction of the internal temperature management system, resulting in deformation of the product's keyboard or external casing, and a potential burn hazard to consumers."

So far, there have been 39 complaints from overseas customers but is expected to affect a total of 535,000 Sony VAIO's in the United States, Europe and parts of Asia.
