Get The Audio From A YouTube Video

I only do this when I really, really need a quick audio file. But, before anything else, let me remind you that the sound quality won't compare to the original. And, if you want it then go buy it.

YouTube is the largest repository of videos created by and for its users. Uploading vidoes on YouTube is a snap, but downloading from YouTube is another matter.

BienneSoft's YouTube Downloader is a software that has the capability to download vidoes not just from YouTube, but also from other known video sites like Google and Yahoo Video, Metacafe among others.
YouTube Downloader is pretty useful if you hate the pauses due to caching on a slow (even a fast) Internet Connection. Or maybe you just want to save the videos for future viewing on your PC or mobile.

Aside from downloading videos over the Internet, YouTube Downloader has a Converter feature for quick file conversions to MP4, AVI, 3GP, WMV, and MP3. Now,isn't that handy!

Now for the How-To:

Download the YouTube Downloader Software here.

To Download videos from YouTube, simply copy the URL which looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX6KdD-fmsM and paste it into YouTube Downloader, then press "Ok." Wait for a couple of seconds and you're on your way to downloading your first video from YouTube. Remember where you saved your video.

To Convert the downloaded file (or almost any other video) to another format like MP3, select the "Convert video" radio button then browse for the file by pressing on the three dots (...). After finding the file, choose from the "Convert to" drop-down menu for a list of file formats which, in this case is the MPEG Audio Layer 3 or MP3 format. Press "Ok." Conversion will depend on which quality you chose.

Are there better ways of doing this? Your comments are most welcome!
